When I think about life with Josh, I see his smile, his laugh.
Growing up, Mom, Josh, and I were like the three
musketeers.  My mom always told Josh and I that "life is
about making memories." Joshua made many memories;
moments that we will always cherish. Josh always knew how
to make us laugh, scream, smile, and cry.

Although Joshua had a mental illness, he still lived a normal
life; and as a child, he grew up doing the same things other
kids did: he went to dances, hung out with friends, dressed
up for Halloween, was excited when Santa came, and was a
member of the band in Junior High.

These pages contain some of our fondest times with Josh.
We include them to show that all people were once a baby in
a mother's arms. No mental illness, no imperfections were
seen the moment the mother's eyes and the child's eyes
first met. We didn't see Josh as some weird entity; Joshua
was beautiful; he was full of life; and his memory will
forever be in our hearts.
